What Shift Ledger is
Shift Ledger is record-keeping software: it helps you capture and organize mileage, costs, and supporting evidence. It is not tax, legal, or accounting advice. You remain responsible for classifications, distances, rates, receipt details, tax treatment, and any filing or reimbursement claim you make.
Purchases
Shift Ledger offers three options with identical full access: auto-renewing Annual and Monthly subscriptions (each starting with a 7-day free trial for new subscribers) and a one-time Founder's Lifetime purchase. All are billed by Apple to your Apple Account. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the current period ends; manage or cancel them in your Apple Account subscriptions. Prices shown by the App Store are authoritative. Refunds are handled by Apple.
Access after a lapse
If a subscription lapses, creating new records is paused, but your existing records, report and packet exports, verification, backup and recovery, deletion, legal pages, and purchase restore remain available.
Your records and availability
Your ledger lives on your device. Keep an independent backup (iCloud or a portable export) before deleting the app or replacing your iPhone. Shift Ledger preserves local sources and corrections but cannot guarantee the availability of GPS, iCloud, the camera, the App Store, or any third-party service.
Acceptable use
Use Shift Ledger only to keep truthful records of your own activity. Fabricating evidence is your responsibility, not the software's.
Warranty and liability
Shift Ledger is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind to the maximum extent permitted by law. To the same extent, Red Spot Creations is not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from use of the app; our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the app in the twelve months before the claim.
